The Sigilyph Hunter Chp2Chp2: Learning to hunt
Wynsaer was growing very quickly. He shed his down in a few weeks and began to flutter around the stone cave they lived in. In a short while, he got the hang of his telekinesis and hovered around like the telluridyans.
He began to ride around on Irving's head when they went hunting...just like he would if he were a baby telluridyan. This is how they learned to hunt...by watching others.
Wynsaer began to talk, too. His first word was actually "Irving"....or rather "O-veen".
Most nights, Wynsaer slept in Irving's nest...he started out sleeping in the small nest Mama made him, but somehow every night he moved to Irving's nest. Finally, Irving just left him sleep in his nest.
For the first few weeks he was with them, Wynsaer ate cactus fruit that they would gather for him on the rocky ridges above their home. Soon, he seemed to grow tired of the fruit and wanted to eat what his family ate...meat.
The Sigilyph HunterOut in the lower desert areas, there was a horrible din that disrupted the usual whir of never-ending wind. Snarling, shrieking, and a sickening crunch here and there was carried on the wind to Irving's audio units. He stopped what he was doing and flitted over to the ruckus. The cries had all stopped, save one very high pitched chirping.
Irving's brothers appeared, practically popping up out of the sand. Telluridyans were masters at hiding. They were skilled hunters who were members of the phylum biomecha...a class of creatures that were part biological and part mechanical. They had cube shaped bodies of shiny chrome and two sets of wings; one on their head and one on their sides. Their most notable features were their talons, cruel, razor sharp claws that could be retracted into their bodies and their left eye, which was a crosshair for locking onto prey.
Irving and his brothers were out hunting when they he

"That's right! We're testing this new virus on you!" Master cackled in a sinister tone, "You're a claims item, so why not?"
"No!" cried Howell.
Master loomed up in front of him, beginning to look like he was made of oil slurry. It looked a lot like a monster he had heard of from the encyclopedia.
Master withdrew a long, glowing cable with a prong on the end.
"No Master PLEASE!!!"
Master was getting closer and larger much larger. His head seemed to loom fifty feet in the air. Master was briefly pixilated before returning to normal.
Howell squirmed to get out of the way of the horrible cable, but it was coming nearer! The virus would surely kill him .and in a very, very painful way . Howell wasn't sure what it would do, but it would be unimaginably horrible.
Master touched the glowing prong to Howell's head, right between his eyes.
Howell cried out, but the cable
Sweet Cream and Daisy chp3Chapter 3: The Rains
As Howell ascended that murky staircase of islands, the charred look went away and was replaced by thick carpets of green moss and stately deciduous forest. Ancient ruins littered some of the islands.
They seemed to have the remnants of an ancient waterway. The canal ran across islands and then fell into a pool on the island below it, continuing further and further down into the dark bluish gray of cloud below.
A thin misty rain started. It was a good thing that Howell was waterproof, but he wasn't sure about the little egg.
Howell decided to take refuge on a large island. IT had drawn his attention because of its strange shape. It was nearly in the shape of an omega; with a hollow center portion and two outcroppings. The reservoir on this island was much larger than the others. The waterfall fell right through the hole in the omega and down to the next island. An an

Yes, the scene beyond the door was MUCH different! Instead of the smooth, beige hallway broken only by pipes and heavy doors, this room had many extravagant features. The floor was covered with a luxurious red carpet and the roof went up several stories and formed a dome. Inside this dome was a mural of the company's greatest achievements. A picture of a SuiteCREM was on there, too.
All around the room were tables and seats, several varieties for the different species that visited. A heavy desk sat next to the door that 111Alpha had just exited out of.
There was one other feature that was quite noticeable. A large number of diafrillans, humans and other species looked up shocked at the escaped SuiteCREM.
Very much like a movie he had downloaded, 111Alpha waved to the crowd of onlookers and casually said, "Hello, there."
"Security, we have a code 4, we have a code 4," the slender, purple
